MISSION :
It is a place where intelligence, innovation and insight are given space to thrive. The department provides an environment that nurtures a creative culture and ensures ample simulation for your grey cells. The venerable CYBERSUDS is an informal association of students and faculty of CSE. It was founded in the year of 2005 to promote communication over a broad range of computer related issues and topics. CYBERSUDS hosts a series of frequent special internet group meetings. Several specialists have been invited from the industries to share their experiences. A large number of students are taking up projects in collaboration with the industries, which would keep them abreast of the latest development in the field. The students with all the support from the department and the existing staff are able to perform excellently well in entrance tests like GATE etc. The encouragement given by the department has made the students get bright score in GRE and pursue higher education in various other countries as well.

HISTORY :
The department of Computer Science and Engineering bloomed in 1998. The blooming department is headed by Dr. K.V.N.Sunitha. With 15 yrs after the inception,the growth of the Department of Computer Science & Engineering, is taking strides in strength and in facilities year after year. The department is working full fledgedly and is glared up with latest equipment in tune, adapting latest trends in the field of teaching like computer visual aids.

SOFTWARE WE USE :
Redhat Linux-9, SCO-Unix , Turbo C++, Visualstudio.NET, Flash, Java, Dream weaver, Adobe Photoshop, Turbo C, Windows, Microsoft Office-2000, C++,C,Oracle.

COMPUTING FACILITY :
The dept. has three adequate and well-equipped computer labs as follows: Computer center-1 This lab is exclusively open for first year students. It consists of 75 computers with Windows-98 and C software,and is used for conducting C& DS laboratory. Computer center-3 This lab consists of 75 systems; it caters the need of II and III year students. Object oriented programming,Operating Systems, UNIX; Network programming Language Processors lab are conducted here. This lab consists of latest Software like Oracle7.3,Visualstudio.NET,Turbo C++, Photoshop, Flash, Dream weaver Etc. All the labs are provided with laser and dot matrix printers. Scanner and cd-writer are also provided for the benefit of students.
