GNITS offers the M.Tech. courses in : -

1. Power Electronics & Electric Drives (by E.E.E. Department)
2. Computer Science & Engineering (by CSE & IT Dept.)
3. Digital Electronic and Communication Systems (by ECE Dept.)

Number of seats in the course are 18 ( 10 General + 3 SC/ST+ 5 sponsored ). Duration of the course is of 4 Semesters.

Non Sponsored Candidates must have a B.E / B.Tech Degree or its equivalent from AICTE approved Institutions and a valid GATE score. Sponsored Candidates must have a minimum B.E / B.Tech Degree or its equivalent from AICTE approved Institutions with a minimum of 55% marks in aggregate.The candidate must have a minimum two years of full time work experience in a recognized firm / industry / Company / Educational or Research Institution / Any Department of Government / Autonomous organization in the relevant field in which admission is being sought. A letter from the employer must be furnished stating that the candidate is being sponsored to get admission. The employer should also indicate that the candidate will not be withdrawn, midway till the completion of the course.Eligibility for the course is B.Tech / or BE or equivalent in EEE branch.

Admission for Non-Sponsored (General & SC/ST) category of students will be made through GATE. When GATE Candidates are not available, admission will be given to Non-GATE Candidates on merit basis. Admission for Sponsored category will be made based on experience / merit. Preference will be given to GATE qualified candidates.

On selection for admission, Candidates shall be required to pay the following fee.
Rs. 5,100/- towards admission fee, Caution Deposit etc.,

Rs. 25,000/- per Semester tution fee (for GATE qualified candidates)

Rs.30,000/- per Semester towards tution fee ( for Non-GATE & sponsored Candidates).

No Stipend / Scholarship will be paid by the College. However if the Govt. of India / AICTE sanctions any Stipend / Scholarship the same will be paid to the respective eligible GATE Qualified Candidates. When AICTE / Govt. of India sanctioned scholarships are less than the no. of Non Sponsored GATE qualified candidates , the scholarship will be distributed based on the merit in GATE.

Sponsored Candidates will not be eligible to receive stipend / Scholarship, even if they are admitted based on GATE Score.
