Dr.P. RamaKrishna Reddy, Professor and HOD

Dr.P. RamaKrishna Reddy is a highly accomplished and respected academician serving as the Head of the Department of Electrical and Electronics Engineering at our Esteemed Engineering college. With over 23 years of experience in the field, Dr. P. RamaKrishna Reddy has made significant contributions to research and education.

Dr.P. RamaKrishna Reddy completed his Ph.D. in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from a renowned Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University, Hyderabad and has since been actively involved in both teaching and research. His areas of expertise include Power Systems, Renewable Energy, Gas stations, Green Energy system etc. He has published numerous research papers in reputed International journals and Conferences. He has been granted with a Patent IPMI- Advanced Grid Connected Systems: Intelligent Power Quality Monitoring and Improvement in Advanced Grid Connected Systems on 23/12/20 with patent no: 2020103327.  Under his exemplary guide ship, the R&D Department of EEE has submitted two proposals ‘Implementation of Rooftop PV assisted electric vehicle using Intelligent control of Supercapacitor & Battery’ and ‘Design, Development and Implementation Of Floating Aerator And Plastic Collecting Seabin Powered By Solar- Photovoltaic System To Rejuvenate Lakes’ Ecosystem’ to MNRE in the year 2022

Apart from his academic achievements, Dr. P. RamaKrishna Reddy is known for his dedication to student development. He has mentored several students, guiding them in their research oriented work and career aspirations. Under his leadership, the Electrical and Electronics Engineering department has witnessed a surge in industry collaborations and internships, providing valuable practical exposure to students.

Dr. P. RamaKrishna Reddy is also actively involved in professional bodies and served as a Additional Controller of Examinations. He believes in fostering a collaborative and inclusive learning environment, promoting interdisciplinary research, and preparing students to tackle real-world challenges.
