Welfare measures and its outcomes

Financial support towards welfare measures:

  • Employee Provident fund (EPF) is provided for the eligible staff by contributing both Employer and employee contributions every month as per the norms of the Government of India.
  • Gratuity for both Teaching and Non-teaching staff up to 10 lakhs has been disbursed to the retired or resigned employees
  • Extension of ESI benefits to non-teaching staff @4% of basic.
  • Reimbursement of 5000/- of premium for Medical Insurance paid irrespective of the policy value for both Teaching and Non-Teaching staff.
  • For all the Staff and Students, Management is providing a Personal Accidental Policy with a coverage of 5 Lakhs per member from a reputed Insurance company every year.
  • Gifts to the Staff during special occasions and Festival advances for staff are provided by the Management.
  • Implementation of Pay scales to Teaching and Non-teaching staff
  • Management will donate an amount in the case of need of money to any Staff whose member of his / her family is in a medical emergency. In this regard, even some times staff also contributes.

Subsidized Transportation Facility to the Staff:

As a welfare measurement, GNITS provides subsidized Transportation for a nominal fee in all the Bus routes operating for the welfare of GNITS Staff in various parts of Hyderabad city. This facility is applicable while coming and leaving the institution. Those who are availing of this facility will be on time to the college to attend their duties.
