MiraiNxt Innovation Centre
Housed in state of the art set up at G Narayanamma Institute of Technology & Science: a three-decades-old engineering college for women, MiraiNxt will come true to its meaning of hand-holding future development. MiraiNXT has an illustrious board of governance, including practitioners and ivyleague alumni from deep tech, fintech, health tech, edtech and sustainable impactverticals, to name a few.
The program has been conceived to develop innovations ability, beginning with developing confidence in the problem one has embarked on a path to solve. Born out of the need to add purpose to work, MiraiNxt facilitates you to be able to get the hands to be held for exploring the landscape diverse perspectives which can be the fodder to innovative ideas.
Mirainxt plans to conduct various programs related to Innovation & Entrepreneurship in GNITS campus. As part of the accelerator program, MiraiNxt provides support to the startups on Growth, Strategy & Funding. The startups will be part of the program for 6-8 months working on growing their business with timelines. We will associate mentors to the startups who will help them in building their technology platform & marketing strategies.
The startups will also associate with our Corporate Partners to explore business opportunities and also work to solve problems faced by Corporates.
By end of the program the start-ups will be made ready to pitch to Venture Capital firms as part of the Demo Day.
The innovation centre was formally launched on 4th of September 2021 at GNITS by Ms. Srividya, Vice Chairman, GPR group of Institutions and Secretary, GNITS. The event was attended by delegates from corporate sector, Government of Telangana officials, Management from Engineering Institutions, Venture Capital firms, Angel Investors, and faculty of GNITS. Guests of honor were Mr Sujai Karampuri, Director, Dept of Electronics, Govt of Telangana and Mr Raj Pakala.
We received more than 50+ applications from all over India and we selected 3. Criteria was team, scalability, if the startup is at early revenue stage and mainly if Mirainxt has the resources to help the startups grow the business. This will be the stepping stone for building Innovation & Entrepreneurship ecosystem in GNITS campus. The startups will hire interns from GNITS campus and in future we want to nurture Women Entrepreneurship as we are a Womens college.
