Smt. Srividya Reddy Gunampalli, Vice-chairperson, has been actively associated with the G. Pulla Reddy Charities Trust for around two decades. As an alumnus of G. Narayanamma Institute of Technology & Science (GNITS) and also as the Management member, her involvement and utmost care in developing all the educational institutions established under the Trust, have witnessed note-worthy growth. Her keen interest in the academic and non-academic activities of the institutions has been a driving force in achieving accolades and prestigious certifications like National Board of Accreditation (NBA), National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC), International Standards Organization (ISO), etc. Under her supervision Research facilities like BTBP have proven to be valuable contributions in the progress of GNITS. The establishment of Apple Lab for training the young women engineers of the college, and the visit of Mr. Tim Cook, CEO – Apple, are feathers in the cap of her achievements. A hands-on person, Smt. Srividya Reddy Gunampalli has a modern outlook, coupled with innate leadership qualities that drove the institutions to rank among the top in the Country.
Following in the footsteps of her father and her legendary grandfather, Smt. Srividya Reddy Gunampalli leads a multi-faceted life as an educationist, entrepreneur, social activist, and community volunteer. As a believer that Education is one of the most important means of empowering women with the knowledge, skills, and self-confidence necessary to participate fully in the development process, she encourages and supports women to develop holistic personalities and to make use of the opportunities and overcome the challenges faced. In these endeavors, she aspires to make bigger contributions to society and as a part of this seeks larger responsibilities in governmental bodies and institutions.
