National Engineers Day
National Engineers’ Day in India is celebrated every year on September 15 to commemorate the birth anniversary of Sir Mokshagundam Visvesvaraya, a renowned Indian engineer and statesman. In the field of engineering, Sir Visvesvaraya was a pioneer who significantly influenced the growth of India’s infrastructure. Taking inspiration from the renowned members in the field of Science and Technology GNITS earmarks Engineers Day as an important celebration. On 15th September BEST PROMISING ENGINEER AWARDS are given to the students of each branch who have contributed distinct work in their chosen branch of study.
